Learn from Brazilian samba master percussionist André Coelho from Rio de Janeiro! André will demonstrate and teach each of the essential Brazilian samba percussion instruments. We will have some percussion instruments available for participants to use, but please bring your own instruments if you have any.

This is a regularly occurring Brazilian percussion ensemble practice. All levels are welcome to participate; while primarily intended for adults, all ages are welcome. Please note that this class will be held in The Clarice’s Orchestra Room (signs will be placed around the building and parking is free in Lot 1 on Saturdays).

Registration for the full semester of lessons (11 total) is $90. Scholarships are available to those for whom cost is prohibitive (contact us for more information).

$15 drop-ins are also available.
