Irish Céilí Dance at Glen Echo Park
Come celebrate St. Patrick’s month at an Irish social gathering filled with traditional music and dance! We will learn some basic Irish dance steps and beginner-friendly group dances, accompanied by live music by some of the region’s best Irish musicians.
The caller will be dancer Kate Spanos and the band will include Marty Frye (flute), Peter Brice (button accordion), Richard Osban (guitar/tenor banjo), and Meghan Mette (fiddle).
The event will be held in the Ballroom Back Room at Glen Echo Park (Spanish Ballroom Annex). Wear comfortable shoes and bring water. Note: Proof of Covid-19 vaccination is not required; face masks are encouraged but not required.
There is a 50% discount for kids under the age of 7 available at the door.
