EducArte hosted a community engagement workshop with Soles of Duende on Saturday, October 12, ahead of their concert at the Prince George’s Publick Playhouse later that evening. We are proud to have presented our first Brazilian Festa Junina festival at Black Cat DC in Washingon, DC, on June 13! EducArte brought together important Brazilian-run nonprofits and community partners and Brazilian audiences from the DMV to enjoy typical dances (quadrilha and forró), traditional foods, and one of the most important forró bands from Brazil, Forróçacana.
