EducArte’s Brazilian Dance Workshop
Join us for special class with Guilherme da Silva from Recife! Guilherme will teach an hour-long class on northeastern Brazilian dances, including frevo, coco, and ciranda. He is the founder of Distrito do Frevo (District of Frevo) in Washington, DC, in partnership with Vavá United School of Samba, and has taught in the United States and Europe.
Don’t miss this unique opportunity learn about dances from Brazil’s Northeast, and stay for our percussion ensemble workshop with André Coelho immediately following the dance workshop!
This is a regularly occurring Brazilian dance workshop hosted by EducArte. All levels are welcome to participate.
This event is free and open to the public. While primarily intended for adults, everyone is welcome. Please note that this workshop will be held at Old Parish House of College Park at 4711 Knox Road.
