Learn the basics of Recife’s carnival dance, frevo! Dancer and dance scholar Kate Spanos will demonstrate and teach frevo dance using the methodology of Mexe Com Tudo (Otávio Bastos) of Recife. Also stay for our percussion ensemble workshop with André Coelho immediately following the dance workshop!

This is a regularly occurring Brazilian dance workshop hosted by EducArte. All levels are welcome to participate.

This event is free and open to the public. While primarily intended for adults, everyone is welcome. Please note that this workshop will be held at Old Parish House of College Park at 4711 Knox Road.
